Depending where you live* you can get a Motorcycle Permit and ride, just teach yourself. But yeah, I would probably go for the MSF course. There’s lots I’m sure that you will only learn there.

EDIT: By permit I mean a temporary 18 month permit that you have to pass the written exam to get, then to get your M endorsement, you have to pass the riding test as well.
WetmelonParticipantAt Geico, I got a quote for a 2010 Ninja 650r. I’m 18, with no MSF, and no riding experience. $300 full year. I say that’s a pretty good deal I had a screenshot, but it loooks like I’ve deleted it.
P.s. What happened at 1:43 in that video? It looks like something breaks on his bike?
WetmelonParticipantYeah NC! Asheville here. Though I’m up in the “frozen north” for university. We gotta have a get together and head out for some barbeque. Anyone? Just give me a bit to get my bike first, and we should be good to go!
