I orginally was going with the KLX250 as my first bike, but I got the DRZ400SM instead. My friend has a KLX250, it’s awesome offroad. I kinda wish I have the KLX250 too… but the DRZ400SM held up pretty well offroad. If you’re a new rider, I’d recommend the one of those 250cc. If you plan to hit the trails, KLX is the way to go. Cruising, get the Nighthawk. You could always upgrade later, might as well buy the cheaper one. You gonna drop it, even if you don’t plan on it. The KLX is pretty durable.
