The quick response has been very helpful. Well went back in during my lunch break today and the DMV did make a mistake luckily the lady I got today was on her game and got it straightened out quick (though waiting took for ever) so now I am officially licensed which is great, can’t wait to starting riding.

Well guess I am stuck with only the permit for now until I can take some time off to go stand in line at the DMV. After looking at the attached form it looks like I really did get stuck with a permit and no waived riding test, which is worse since now I have no proof of completion from MSF.

This weekend I checked out a lightly used 2008 GS500F with about 1100 miles on it and just serviced hope to pick it up for around $3000. Also went and checked out gear at the local motorcycle shop in town and have to say the Tourmaster textile jackets seem to be a good buy, fit well and pretty adaptable. Now the only problem is finding a comfortable Helmet(ones physically at the shop were ok at best), pants, boots (these werent well stocked at the local store), and gloves. Hope to be on the bike and riding by next week (fully equiped and licensed of course).
