Big +1 for X650F … I love it! Be aware that it’s a bit on heavy side …. 530 lbs loaded with gas. It remains well planted in crosswinds and interstates.

I too “graduated” from scooter to motorcycle. Took MSF course before riding the motorcycle. Best investment I ever made!! Learned tons without having to learn the ole fashioned way … school of “hard falls”.
Both the riding time and the coursework were highly useful.
