Thanks for the advice. I guess I am just being nervous before I ride. So far, I’ve only been up and down my street a few times, including a nice island to practice wide cornering and of course, the obligatory emergency stop drills. I am looking forward to hitting the neighborhood around me.
japac1Participantarticle. I like waterless cleaners. I’ll give it a try.
japac1Participantof that (having a friend drive it over, however, I don’t know any close by riders.) I think my street, a cul-de-sac, with a fairly nice straight a way and a small island to practice curves, may be the best place to start. But, boy I am nervous. And I am glad I am, too….but also very excited!!!
japac1ParticipantThanks for all of your input. I know I need to start shopping around….
japac1Participantand it was fun. I passed with no problem, however, I don’t like the figure-8 in the box. I am so glad I signed up. Now I have to decide about a bike and I really need a lot of practice. Thanks for all of the encouragment!!
japac1ParticipantThanks for your thoughts guys. I did sign up for mid December!!
