…needs to tell her not to ride a bike she doesn’t love. The relationship between bike and rider is much closer than car and driver, so you have to LOVE what you ride. No pun intended (maybe a little, tee hee).

This was blue flames, I photoshopped it. This is something like what I want….eventually. Oh and without the Harley Davidson Signature. Mine’s suzuki.

Perhaps if I’m on a pink embellished ride, motorists will be especially cautious to not hit a GIRL.

So did you paint yet, that was almost a week ago you asked. I am partial to pink. I’m not necessarily a girly girl but I just think pink on black looks hot. I have seen a few I really liked. There’s a cheap leather jacket on Ubid that’s black with pink flames. It’s cheap like cost a little bit and cheap like…OMG, who would wear that? There’s a strange appeal to cute meets hard core. Ya’ know?

Yes, I fell for it hook line and sinker. I went in looking at a Suzuki s40 and ended with the S50 after he tried to sell me on the C60 Boulevard. It was way too heavy so I “settled” for the smaller bike. The engine is 800 and was a lot for me to handle at first. I am very happy with the bike now that we’ve spent some time getting to know one another, but I just wish I’d read everyone’s advice BEFORE buying. Thanks for the posts.

After the battery was FULLY charged it worked fine. Just some new bike paranoia. Thanks, I got a trickle charger from Wal Mart for like under 20 dollars, I’m sure the shop would have charged it for me for free but the time to get it there and all didn’t seem worth it IF it was the battery. Thanks again.

Thanks. I am loving the bike. The kids at school think its cool. It took the staff about 2 weeks to figure out whose bike was in the lot. I come early and leave late.

I have a masters degree in Educational Technology and couldn’t figure it out. Duh! I think I need to go back to school. Thanks again.

I’ll clear the cache and see if that works, then I can put a face to the name.

OMG, so funny I laughed out loud!! So glad you didn’t say you don’t wave at chics. I love the wave or the head nod, the acknowledgement that I’m one of the tribe. However, some guys don’t get lady riders. Oh well too bad for them.
    Thanks for the laugh!

PS. I ride a Suzuki AND I’d be happy to wave to you on your puny little honda.

Hey thanks for the reply! It does have a reserve toggle, but it’s in the right position. My husband thinks I just haven’t charged the battery enough. Batteries become drained quickly here due to the heat. It was 107 today, and has been about that for a few weeks. I will know tomorrow.
