Trackday vid from infineon. Had an interesting day at Infineon. After the second session, was told to GTFO of C group and forced bump to B group. My computer wouldn’t turn on even though the battery has been fully charged since last night, so only vid on the second C group session. On the 3rd lap of the next to last session, proceeded to lowside on T11… First crash on the track… Luckily, the damage is cosmetic and minor.
This is the avi dump of the quicktime movie… the quicktime movie has way better quality, but you’d have to upgrade your quicktime to quicktime pro, which sucks. The quality is better if you just watch it from veoh.

As far as the streets, i don’t push it on the streets anymore like i used to. I’m more sedate in the twisties and slower. Ironic.

The track is a controlled environment, the streets… you take your hand off the handle bar to scratch your butt and then something appears out of nowhere.
A bit off topic, but in the video, why does the sun has a black dot in the middle?

As far as the track goes, it’s definately the place to learn first hand… not just about riding, but about how a motorcycle works and why it reacts the way it does.
