HaHa! West Texas has summer and spring. Maybe from Dec-Feb it gets really cold but thats only if yiu are out riding at 2AM

It is too hot to ride right now. Today’s high was 100 degrees. Yesterday’s high was 100 degrees. Last weekend’s highs were 100 degrees, which was down five degrees from the previous weekend.

Y’all get to ride in the summer, we get to ride the other eight months of the years.

Eh? It’s not that cold in San Fran. Winters in the midwest are much much worse.

I just got back from a 15 month deployment and bought my 04 Ninja 500 and thought I’d be able to ride almost all year round here in Savannah, Ga. I found out last week that I’m Changing my station to Germany, where it gets cold as hell in the winters like my home in NY. However, I do get to ride on the Autobon, though. Come to think of it, I guess I’m not dissatisfied, at all. LOL

Well a bike is all i can afford (getting it this thursday!!) and I plan on that being my main transportation.

ill be able to ride up to winter break probably, and then during winter break (home in so cal) but when i head back up to flagstaff for spring semester, riding will be VERY limited. (it snows, but not everyday)

obviously not riding in the snow, but if the roads are clear, im riding to class/work… im getting chilly just thinking about it

don’t winterize…just ride it.
get some good winter gear (nitro is pretty cheap and effective)
I don’t venture out in the snow and avoid the ice.
just be careful of that “black ice”…it’s not a puddle, it’s real ice and the woe of many unsuspecting riders.
