Was wearing my half helmet and goggles last Sat and took a drive through the mountains.. Hit a bug dead on and when it exploded it covered the full left side of the goggles.. Took me by surprise… I REALLY need to get a windshield for the new bike…
I have no idea what hit me, I didn’t see it coming, I heard a loud noise (it hitting my face shield), and there were no mega guts, but there’s a 1/2 in. scratch on my face shield right in between the eyes. I’m glad I wasn’t wearing a brain bucket, b/c I think it would have hurt like hell….
