I’m looking to buy my first bike this summer and I was considering the 08′ Ninja 250R but i had a question if anyone can help me out. So I’ve read all the articles on this site (as well as other respectable sites) about the bike and love all the features but I’m more concerned about if the bike can handle me. I’ve read that its an ideal bike for smaller riders but what about people like myself who are 6ft 230lbs? Would anyone still recommend the Ninja 250R or possibly suggest another beginner bike for someone like me? Thanks for any help

If you are taller in the inseam, but wanting to stay with 250cc look at a dualsport (like the KLX250). The Ninja 500 and Suzuki GS500 will also handle your dimensions just fine.
