Hey guys…. so far , knock on wood, I have been very fortunate in not dropping the 500. I came really close the other day.
I was running a touch late getting to work…cooler morning means that the V500 actually has to warm up a little before take off. Cooler I mean about mid 30’s F. Anyway, I start out haulin butt to get to work and no problems, nothings different until I come up into traffic and I get my usual 20 mins of slow race practice. Which I am becoming quite proficient at, I can actually balance no feet at a stand still for about 5 to 10 seconds…I hate creeping traffic. This particular moment I was looking around making sure an 18 wheeler wasn’t going to make me a replacement for his “Mack” bulldog hood ornament, when I realised I was following a hurse (sp?). I was thinking…”great not a good sign, but I have never been that prepared in my life for anything so the chances of getting planted behind this thing is absolute nil” and thats when my curiosity got to me… I edged closer to see what was in the back window. Nothing special, just a big white box that had a packing slip on it. Now comes the point where I bout dropped the V500….. upon further inspection it did indeed look like a casket and after getting close enough to read a label on the box I see “FOR ONE TIME USE ONLY”…………now I don’t know if you remember fighting with your kids and/or siblings and they commence to tickling you…and how little strength you have from laughing so dang’d hard…..but I bout dropped the V500 that morning from laughing.
I mean really….do you really think there is a need to point that out? Has the economy gotten that bad where it may have been a multi-purpose item. “Dig ’em back up Joe …we got another to plant next week and this one is gonna fit him!” ….ROFL…. I know…. its wrong…. but just too funny to me at the time.

First let me say good thing you didnt drop the bike and youre safe.

BUT I was LMAO to the fact that you almost dropped it on sticker label on a casket nonetheless LOL.

I think its hurst…but I am not 100% on spelling either LOL.

That’s like Silica Gel – “do not eat these tiny plastic balls you dumbass” . You know if they take the trouble to put that sticker on there some moron has already done it. Do not underestimate some people’s stupidity.

So let’s say you did end up dropping it, how would you have lifted it back up, once you managed to get over being totally embarrassed?

Assuming your not riding an 800+lbs behemoth….. depends on what side… I will have to look through some videos again but I think U-tube had a good one thats very helpful. If you are on the behemoth… hopefully there are some well meaning concerned citizens there to help you.

Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a prediction, but today…… is a Bi**h
