I have been doing research on several different bikes. Currently the top ones I have found are the united motors v2c 250t, United Motors V2S 250r, Kawasaki ninja 250r, Yamaha virago 250, and the Hyosung GT 250R (although I found one site that said the Hyosung was bought out by United Motors). Some of the research said that the Virago regularly gets 70+ miles per gallon going up to 90mpg. The ninja gets 65 or so, and I haven’t found very much on the other 3 (possibly 2). One site said 113mpg for both the UM’s and the Hyosung. Is this correct? What do you think? Thanks a bunch.

I think a moped will run for 2 or 3 years on the original tank of fuel :-)

Part of what makes up the MPG is driving style. It’s all about how you ride that determines how your average mpg will come out. So yeah some people will claim higher or lower numbers for any bike out there. Hard to say what is the absolute best as how and where the bike is driven makes a huge difference.

And for the love of god Brendan, put a shirt on… This is a bike forum, not a nipple contest

the motard/dualsport bikes get the best MPG it seems. honda CRF230M gets 90odd mpg while the kawa KLX250SF gets 80odd…

I like the kawasaki over the honda when comparing the two.

There’s a cruiser that gets like 100 or so, but I don’t remember what it is, there’s a good site that has it all together. I found it while I was looking for a bike for my mom, but I don’t remember what it was. I’d say google is your friend for this one.

A member puts a couple pictures of his daughter posing on his bike, and he gets raves about what a “cutie” she is. Can’t the girls have an opportunity to admire also? :)

Anyway, he is young; be glad that he is mature enough to start looking with a smaller bike rather than starting a new gixer thread. :) Once he gets his bike, he’ll update his avatar with a bike picture while sitting there ATGATT. Then everyone will get to admire the pic.
