The other day on the way to work I was riding up 101n and I saw a harley rider a few cars in front of me. He was merging into the right hand lane to get off on the same exit I was. The funny thing is he kept taking his left hand off of the handle bars for a couple seconds at a time, at first I thought this was because ‘riding with one hand is cool’. After creeping up on him a little bit I realize that he was actually SHIFTING! He had modded his harley (at least I think its a mod, this would be odd if it was stock) so he had a stick shift right below his left handlebar. I’m assuming he probably turned the food shifter into a clutch. It was just an odd sight!
Also a few days later I was riding up the same stretch of freeway and I harley rider passed me on the right and stuck a hand out to give me the ol’ biker wave. This is pretty normal, excet he had a hook for a hand! What a badass riding a motorcycle with a hook.
Those are the two weirdest things I’ve seen on any of my rides. Anyone else have any cool stories?

I had never heard of them and, from the totally retro styling at first thought it was a restored bike, but, apparently, it’s not. They were first produced in the UK starting in 1949 and then India around the mid 50’s.
From the company’s web site…
“The Bullet is made today in the same manner it was in 1955. However over the years improved metallurgy, modern machining methods and the passage of time has produced stronger, more durable parts, making the Bullet superior, in some ways to the same bike made in 1955.”
Pretty cool, I love retro looking bikes.
