Go to Santa Claus, Indiana. We went to the Holiday World-Splashin Safari there yesterday. It has great roller coasters and water rides, and it costs a lot less than Disney World or Disney Land. Go during the week- the weekends are too crowded. They have special parking for motorcycles and keyed lockers to put your gear in.

The Moonlite Bar B Que in Owensboro, Kentucky is only 35 miles away for lunch or dinner (where Nicky Hayden is from). Here is the recipe for Moonlite Dip, for beef, lamb or mutton (from Rick Browne and Jack Bettridge). It makes a lot-you could make less instead to try it:

    1 gallon of water
    2 cups cider vinegar
    1.5 cups Worcestershire sauce
    2.5 tablespoons lemon juice
    half cup packed brown sugar
    3 tablespoons black pepper
    2 tablespoons salt
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
    1 teaspoon allspice
    1 teaspoon onion powder

Mix ingredients in a large pot and bring to a rolling boil, skimming the surface if needed. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes, then cool. Use as a baste during cooking, and a slow smoky wood fire for the meat is best. Makes 3 quarts.
