Just checked the website to get additional information on these bikes. I did not get a great deal of insight on these machines. The dealer did mention to me that the UM bikes were made by HYOSUNG. I have noticed a great deal of negative response concerning the HYOSUNG bikes. I am trying to find out just a little more info on the UM. Is it the new HYOSUNG?

AFAIK, UM is hyosung for all intents and purposes. There’s a couple of people here that have a hyosung and love ’em. I’ve read the responses to this company, but I’m gonna guess that there pretty old. I wouldn’t personally buy one, but there are those that haven’t had any of the issues you’ve read about them on the net. You probably want to look at reviews on the dealership instead. Every brand has issues, whether widespread or just bad luck for a few. The question is how the dealer deals with these situations.

I think the Hyosung look like great bikes…in fact the 2009 GV650 Aquila looks great. I was drooling over it when I first saw it. Too bad they are ver difficult bikes to aquire.

I get compliments on the looks all the time….even from some of the Harley guys(suprise!!!). Take your pick….from old to young…men and ladies, my GV has turned more than it’s share of heads, and received plenty of compliments. Way more than I expected from a non-Harley cruiser. Til the wheels fall off I say. I’ll never sell her, even after I get my Harley…or Yamaha. Whichever budget comes first.
