Just wanted to share we just did a 200 biker Toys for Tots ride, sponsored by The Blue Knights. It was awesome. We raised 150 toys and $1600.

It was police escorted so the Sheriff’s Department and Houston PD closed part of the Highway off and the roads leading around the Nasa Space center. We started from one Hooters and ended up in another Hooters. I think the motorcycle convoy extended for a couple miles. Loved the look of “WTF” from all the cagers as we took over the roadways. The entire convoy was led by a Marine Humm-V.

All in all great cause, great ride.

Sounds like it would of been fun. Probly be spring before I get to do something like a charity ride.

It was definitely fun and for a good cause.

Riding in such a large group was actually very fun and felt great. We road staggered formation in one lane, but we had police escort road guards to both sides of us to stop traffic, so we did not stop at any lights or turns. So we had minimal accordian effect.

Everyone was a competent rider even on the harder turns – no one laid out their bike. I gotta tell you the sound of 200 bikes all at once is freakin’ awesome.

90% of the bikes were harleys, we had a couple sports bikes, and even one Piaggio scooter 400. Though the bike that caught the most attention was that orange honda above. LOL

    LOL Munch…

Well, no there were plenty of nice hooter girls, but no I did not take any pictures of them. I was too busy eating and socializing ;P

Next time I go to hooters I will get plenty of pics for you then.. hehe.
