First of all Ben – nice new look for BBM!

Second – I just wanted to let everyone know that I have my own column now for Thunder Roads Magazine, Texas edition.

Since I started riding, I have met a lot of cool people, been on great rides to include charity rides, and been to bike nights. My journey so far has brought me to become a writer for the magazine. Our official website is http://www.Thunderroadstexas.com.

Click on Current Issue (January) link and my MSF article is on page 28. This is my first article for the magazine and will be on a monthly basis. For those who have not taken the MSF or know little about it, you may want to read my article.

I have been contacted by several companies that so I can review their products :) So far being part of Thunder Roads is great; giving me perks during bike nights, meeting those Thunder Road girl of the month as well LOL.

Anyways if you want to check us out please do so.

And I hope BBM’s and everyone’s New Year be a prosperous one.

Well there you go…. from a Rebel to an Author……wait… still trying to figure how that worked……. Give a man a 600 and he starts doing crazy stuff……..
    Just kidding…. congratulations man!!
Now see…. you know I like ya…. I am fixin’ to go check it out.. .and I HATE Texas. Gotta support the family though… so I will take a gander.
“And I hope BBM’s and everyone’s New Year be a prosperous one. ” ROFLMAO… I read that as saying a Preposterous one.
Hope things keep climbing for ya !!!!

Thanks Munch. Yup its been a whirlwind ride these past couple months. Yesterday I stopped by a Starbucks for coffee and I ran into this guy riding a Yamaha Star Touring. We sat and talked for an hour and he gave me the website for thier bike club. It happened to be he was the President of the Yamaha Star Chapter for Houston area..LOL.

He invited me to their next meet and extended an invitation to their MC. It was just so cool. It pays to be nice to everyone I meet.

Oh and one more thing Munch, I checked my chicken strip lately, and it would put that Rebel Forum Admin guy to shame. I am not saying I am a great rider, but definitely not a slouch either.

I am just proud to say my journey started here on BBM!!! Before I even bought my first bike!!

PS If anyone has a Facebook page let me know. You can find me by searching for Elm Valle and I’ll add any of you guys as friends!

Glad to hear your pressing your skills further! I tried to find my chicken strips on the 900 …apparently I have none. By accident I ended up getting my ties muddy after washing it and rode to work the next day….. .hmm…. no mud anywhere except past the tread patch on the sidewall. Seems I have gotten more comfortable turning her tight then I imagined. As big as she is I can still bang a U-ey on a two lane with some change to spare!
Don’t do face book or the other one. Too many people in this world I don’t get along with. Heck I am amazed y’all can put up with me! :^)
Let me know what you think about the bike group… I looked into some locally here but I am concerned at times about some of the groups. That and I am afraid I work to much to be able to do the runs and such that some might consider to be paramount for membership.
Oh yea…. don’t forget about us lil folks.

Congrats on the new gig! That’s very cool.. Tomorrow I find out if I get into the local Star Chapter here that I’ve been riding with the past few months.. It’s great having such a wealth of Star knowledge to pick through their brains.. I’m sure you’ll love riding with them.

Well I was voted in unanimously last night at the chapter meeting. So now I’m an official “biker” I suppose..

{CHEER}Grats man…. let me know how it goes. Still kinda leary about ones around here. Maybe I am just getting old in my young age but the folks around these are looking more like I could handle when I was say 20-ish.

Still waiting on the patches.. I’ll take a new pic of me on the bike once I get them on my vest..

Munch.. I’m sure there’s a group near you that you’d feel comfortable in.. I’m the youngest one in my group at 39… But all the guys seem very cool and fun to ride with. You just gotta get out to some bike nights and look around…
