I’ve been hoping to get a picture of myself on the bike, and look, the state of Maryland was kind enough to oblige:
Speed trap camera caught my going 48 in a 35mph stretch. $40 fine, but no points or anything for the driving record. I’ve learned my lesson. If I’m going to get busted in a speed trap, next time I want to be sure I’m doing a wheelie.

Another thing, if the paper doesnt require a sig you dont have to do anything at all. And if you go to court for it youc na get out of it 2 ways. 1.) ask to see the person who worte the ticket (the tickets are wrote up and printed by a computer, and computers cant ticket you)
2.) ask to see your prosecutor.November 9, 2008 at 9:02 am #14713megaspazParticipantYou should wheelie down that road next time when you’re speeding…

1) the rule of thirds: if you draw a 9 square grid. you only want the focus to take up one third or less. The best places to put the focus (to the American eye)(because we start reading in the top left) Is the top left.
2) Lines/direction: Lines are a great way to draw focus.
3) Contrast: The black of the road vrs the white of the median bisected by our focus. The Rider. It also speaks to human nature. The road is empty except for the bike; that is a dream compared to bay area traffic. This give a sense of serenity to the image. The picture also captures the movement of the moment, granted the bike is moving, but the picture is not. Overall this is an amazing picture for a machine.
Oh and thats a bummer about the ticket. Maybe sell prints of the picture?
Please don’t feed the animal.

I just want to make it out of this life alive…

Are you kidding me?
You were going 13 miles over, and only got off with a $40 fine….that’s incredible. Maybe I should move to Maryland. Going 5mph over the limit here in South Florida is $105. Don’t even get me started with the other fines.
