    Hi everyone.

I have been planning to get into riding for a few years and I’m finally getting it together. Currently looking for bikes and have pretty well decided on a Vulcan 500. Me and a buddy are taking the MSF course in early June and hopefully I’ll get a bike shortly after that.

I’m originally from the Raleigh area, but I’m currently going to school in the western part of the state.

Alright well that’s my introduction, looking forward to a lot of learning.

Howdy Dex…western part?..>Appalachian? Did some wheeling up in Boone several years ago. V500 huh…your gonna love her. Let me know when you get settled in for riding. Might hook up on a ride or two. I ride from Wendell to Cary every day. Where you taking the MSF?

He told me he use to have one. I had never rode a bike before the MSF class. After that I got a Vulcan 500. It was a little scary at first to ride home when all I had been on was a little Rebel on the parking lot at MSF but I believe it has been a real confidence building bike for me. I have heard from people who got too much bike and did not want to ride. I love the 500 Vulcan.

I grew up in Durham, and I have some buddies at Western, UNCA, and App. I’m currently living up in Massachusetts, but I make it down to NC whenever I can. I long for the drivers of the south instead of these crazy Boston drivers.
