hey, this past weekend someone tried to steal my bike =/. I didn’t go out on sunday and when I was leaving to work on monday, I found the ignition and a piece of the handlebar hanging. it sucks, but at least they couldn’t take it. I put the lock in the back wheel, so this person who tried to steal it didn’t realize that or maybe he was planing to pick it up later. I don’t know, the only thing that I know is that he clearly didn’t know how to do it. there are some nice harleys where I live way more expensive than my bike, but I guess is easy to get rid of sport bike parts. I was checking the price of the damage and so far it’s about 200 (that is only one part). after I fix it or it gets fix, I’ll buy an alarm and a small baseball bat (the alarm has a pager, so you can imagine). if you have a sport bike, put an alarm to it. it’s the best investment you can do to your bike. oh! and if it has a pager, don’t forget the little league aluminum bat ;-). I was thinking what a friend said about he getting revange after you beat the shit out of him, so I found a solution. just let him unconscious on the floor without calling the cops. he won’t know who hit him… I’ll let you know how the repair goes.

The bike we just bought is a recovered stolen laid down bike. They ripped out the ignition (which is stupid, b/c there are much easier ways to jump a bike). That was about 110, and now the lay down damage…..we’ve spent about 200 bucks so far, probably about another 100-150, and we’ll be done (not counting the carb tuner that we need anyways)……good luck, we’re buying alarms for both bikes as well….poor baby doesn’t need to get jacked twice!
