Shark RSI Adjuster—WTF?

I no longer have the instruction manual that came with the helmet as it is about 6 months old now, BUT—

My Shark RSI has a small problem where the visor, when closed, doesn’t seat flush against the rubber seal on the helmet. This creates a lot of excessive noise and air flow even with the vents shut. After looking up information on it on the web I found out that it’s a common problem with my helmet and that there’s an adjustment mechanism on the helmet that you can adjust to fix that problem. But I don’t know how! =(

I have the same problem with my Bell Zephyr. Really sucks in the rain because water will run down the inside of the visor, that’s really no fun. I sure wish mine had such an adjustment.

Perhaps they know how to do it at a local shop….

I know at least on the Bell Star you get the best seal when you use the little lever on the lower left side of the visor to pull it back and lock it into place. Shoei has a similar system on their newer helmets.
