ParticipantHere is my first GoPro video effort. More of an exploratory effort this as i work out what works and what does not. I thought going on a group ride would get me cool shots of other riders but that didn’t really work out. Most of the video is me just playing around before the group ride.

ParticipantOh man, watching the front wheels of your MP3 from that angle is hysterical. That is one cool bit of engineering!
Looks like a great ride, and glad to see you too made use of this last sunny day in the Seattle area. I had my own little ride on the Eastside and around Mercer island (fun until you hit another car) on Sunday. Hopefully we get another one soon…
Oh, also, what’s the song, and what movie recent-ish movie had this song on the soundtrack? It’s driving me nuts.

ParticipantThe song is Golden Brown by The Stranglers. Don’t know about any recent movie, I just remember it from first time around.
I wasn’t sure if that angle would work or not but that turned out to be the best shot of the day.

ParticipantA really good, enjoyable, and funny vid. For some reason, the wheel cam angle made me think of Wall-E…

ParticipantThere is sunshine in Seattle after all. I enjoyed the video as well. Looks like some gorgeous scenery coming up there at the end.
Sunday must have been a good day for a lot of us. I was able to get about 3 hours of riding in, myself, thanks to a beautiful, sunny day.November 4, 2009 at 5:16 am #23160eon
ParticipantNow you mention it, it does look like Wall-E!

ParticipantJust remembered: it’s Snatch (made in 2000).

ParticipantVery cool. The sunshine is fabulous, and I love the shot of your wheels. Looks like it was a great ride.
