Are there any bad effects from removeing the front fender on a motorcycle? Ive got a 03 shadow spirit 750 and it doesnt have much of a front fender to begin with but i love the look of no front fender. Thanks
June 13, 2010 at 3:01 pm #27006MunchParticipantRocks, rain, and general debris. If you don’t mind the occasional something being launched at ya from under neath. No there’s no aerodynamic consequence. Just be sure of what hardware or brackets that may need the fender to be on there.
June 19, 2010 at 2:50 pm #27090MaxParticipantMost front fenders have extra support under the fender. This acts as a fork stiffener to prevent the fork legs from “walking” and the bike from feeling as squirley on some road surfaces like gravel, grooved road surfaces or gouges in the pavement.
