Me on my bike. Yes, I know im a big guy for a sportbike, but my spare tire doesn’t seem to really be an issue at all. =)

I don’t know how to convert it into a size suitable for use as an avatar for these forums and I don’t own any photo editing software. My mother took the pic of me with her digital camera and emailed it to me. Any help?

What operating system are you using? windows, mac, linux? Finding that out will make it easier to getting you simple image manipulation programs for your platform.

I did a conversion for you. Just right click on the image and save image as and use it in your profile.

You could try these suggestions. Try them all and see which one you’re more comfortable with.

I use the gimp on windows, mac, and linux, but it’s a heavy weight program with a lot of features. I don’t personally like how they layout options in their menus and it can be quite confusing for someone just starting out with graphics editing. I’ve had stability issues with the gimp on windows in the past. I don’t use windows much anymore as my main systems at work and home are linux and macos.

irfanview is great for doing simple stuff like that… nice and lightweight… no reason to get GIMP involved!

btw, CS3 is sort of equally as free as GIMP and way nicer ;)

I like your Joe Rocket jacket! I got one similar without the white. I love how it breaks down for hot weather.

Pretty impressive. I sat on a Comet 250 and 650naked when I was at the “H” dealer. Yeah, sad to say the bike was much too tall for me, the “franks” and “beans”. So you lowered it to the size of the GV650? Nice.

The SV650 is known for having one of the lowest seat heights of any bike on the road. I don’t know how it compares to the Comet, but if you have trouble on an SV, I reckon you’d have trouble on just about any bike.

Yes, I do love the Jacket. It fits beautifully and I love how it opens up for hot weather. It was a bit of money but worth it. My only regret about it is not getting one that’s waterproof, like the Fieldsheer jacket that my dad has.

31.5 inches isn’t all that low. Almost every cruiser is lower than that and there are a few sport bikes with lower seats also.

Nice bike, cool pic! In the avatar I thought it was a Monster. ;)
