I am new to riding ( just passed the MSF Beginner course), and I am collecting safety gear before I buy my first bike. I’ve had for a while an old leather jacket, but am wondering if I should get a new one. The jacket is made by Excelled, fits me well, and is made of pretty heavy leather. It’s cut like a riding jacket too, long sleeves, more back material. It came to me after it was left at a friend’s house after a party, and didn’t fit him and no one claimed it for months and months. The zipper was broken and I just had it replaced. I can’t seem to find much information on the brand, or whether this jacket is for style or riding. Anybody know anything?
