I’ve heard a few times on this board that Kawasaki is going to be revamping the look of the Ninja 500 next year, anyone have any more info on that?

They would be stupid not to after the reception the 250 got this year.

I totally agree, The 250’s are a much better looking bike and the 500’s totally need a facelift. Kawasaki Canada were sold out of 08 Ninja 250 3 months ago, I’ve been trying to get one for the past 2 months to no avail. There are 2 on Kijiji for sale used but they want more than what I will walk out of the dealer with for an 09, so I’ll wait. They already have lots of people on the waiting list for the 09’s which are supposed to come out the end of summer (tiss whar Kawasaki Canada told me) As for the 500’s I haven’t heard anything from the dealers about it, but one can always hope they will.

If they revamp the Ninja 500 like they did the 250 this year, that will pretty much seal the deal for me on the 500. I think I’m going with the 500 anyways but, still considering the 250. A new and improved 500 with full fairing is a done deal.
