Been lurking here for a while, decided to reg. I’m new to the motorcycle thing, going to get one soon hopefully, now that I live somewhere with much nicer weather (socal instead of maine). Got my permit a couple weeks ago, one of my buddies has some scooters that I’ve ridden on a few times, really fun. Researched getting one of those till I saw I could get a real motorcycle for around the same price for what I needed (60+mph).
Anyway, from my experiences on the scooters and what I’ve heard from others, this will be a really fun thing to get into, lookin forward to it. Gonna take the MSF course soon, it’ll be worth it for the DMV test waiver as well as knowledge and small savings on the bike insurance. Probably gonna go for a ninja250, and I’ll make a thread over on General regarding that.
