Hiya,
I actually took the class and got my license last year, and wasn’t really planning on buying a bike. Well a year later my friends who took the class with me decide to buy their bikes and low and behold I fall into the peer pressure trap.
I actually decided to go with a 2009 Yamaha FZ6R. I know that it is not one of the most recommend bikes for a newbie, especially on this site, but I decided to go with one for the looks, low end torque. I tried the SV650 but was really uncomfortable, and I wasn’t a big fan of the Ninja style. I’m not one who really wants to go splat on the concrete, but really thought that it was something I would be able to handle. After a month of riding I have no regrets, except for maybe the price tag.
Thanks for reading,
