Hi all, had a quick look around and couldn’t see where this website is based, but no matter! I live in Bendigo, Australia and just got my “L” plates at 60 years of age. Birthday present was a Sachs 150 Express. Really happy with it so far, perfect beginners bike, even tells you what gear you are in! A few minor issues which hubby is sorting out. Very nervous at the moment so sticking to the back roads and will gradually introduce myself to traffic. Not sure if I will persevere and go for my full licence yet….will wait and see if the “butterflies in the tummy” disappear. lol

Welcome to our little forum. It’s mostly folks from the States on here but we have a few international members as well. Congratulations on starting out on this venture at 60, never too late to have fun! Hopefully the butterflies will go away and you will start to enjoy yourself more. It’s a very addictive pastime.

Hope you stick around and fill us in on your progress.
    Have fun!

Welcome to the forum and motorcycling.

This forum is based in the US but is not a regional forum. We love to hear more about your experiences and may be able to answer questions you have.
