    Hey everyone!

I just passed the Motorcycle Safety Course and had ridden dirt bikes back in the day but now I’m looking to get a bike for everyday use for traveling to work and school. I was looking at low CC cruisers like the Suzuki Intruder and the Kawasaki Eliminator but I just can’t seem to get myself to like them. I saw the Honda Shadow Aero and fell in love but I’m unsure if I’ll be able to handle it seeing as all I’ve ridden were 250 dirt bikes and a 125 cruiser during the safety course. I found a 125 Honda Shadow but it seems they’re only available in Europe which annoys me because I’d buy one in a heart beat. What do you guys think is a nice beginning cruiser?

    Thanks,
    Michael

    Dirt is not street.

My absolute favorite cruiser is the Kawasaki Vulcan 500. The engine is based on the ninja 500 engine and it looks like a full size cruiser even though it has a much more forgiving engine. If you were looking for something smaller I would check out the Honda Rebel 250, there is one that parks next to me at school and it looks amazing.
