I’ve been lurking around here for a while. Got my license back in July, unfortunately life got in the way and I was not able to get a bike…not yet that is.

    Anyway..hello.

This is a great community and there is a wealth of advice to gleam from the other users. I’m getting ready to take the test for my endorsement soon and also looking for a decent used bike. I’m looking for a 250cc Honda Nighthawk or Kawasaki Ninja. What kind of bikes are you looking at?

I kind of like the Buell Blast, for the price and the look. I was looking at the Ninja 250, but they’ve been hard to find in my area. Also the Ninja 500, but I’d rather get something smaller to play around with first. Yourself?

I am really interested in the Ninja 250 but they are sold out almost everywhere in SoCal as well, so I’ve heard. I would like to try and sit on a few different sport bikes to see if I would be comfortable with the forward leaning position. I got the chance to ride a cruiser style (Honda Rebel) and a standard style (Honda Nighthawk) when I took the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course about a month ago. I’m still relatively new to riding and haven’t nailed down anything with regard to my preferred style of motorcycle.
