New Dainese back protector

    Hey guys,

    I just got my Dainese Wave 2 back protector to replace the POS protector in my Shift R1 jacket. It is pretty much an exact replacement size wise, just offers a ton more protection… here are some pics:



    Feels pretty good. I am a little worried that the ribbing on the outside of the protector will begin to unevenly wear the leather of the jacket when I wear a backpack… but we’ll see how it holds up…

    I tested it against a wall a couple of times, much better at deadening impact. Only other comment is that I can feel it a bit, compared to the squishy foam insert that was there before… not overly noticeable…

    Good thing you haven’t needed the use of your back protector before getting the wave 2… I think you can get them icon thingies at bed, bath, & beyond… :-/
