Whats up guys. Its been awhile. Since my last postings i have sold my bike, joined the army and have been waiting to go home. Ill be home in two weeks finally! And im trying to figure out what bike willbe best for me. I love the sports bikes but being 6’2″ my back can hurt pretty fast. This was the case with the gs500f, my back would kill me and my ass would hurt like hell. Truthfully idk if i need a more aggressive riding style to straighten out my back by leaning more or a more upright bike. I have the Honda VFR 800 Interceptor in mind for right now, or i here the kaw 636 isnt to bad with riding. Some help would be nice.

Tl;dr – best sports bike for tall people

    Thanks guys.

The VFR is a far better street bike. If you plan on doing anything other than high speed canyon carving/track riding, like around town riding or long distance rides, the VFR will be just plain better. A more aggressive riding style will ALWAYS be harder on your back. And the ergos in general will be far more cramped on a supersport than on a sport tourer like the VFR.

If you’re young and fit, you can get used to anything pretty quickly. Your muscles just need some conditioning. I found that out while riding mountain bikes. At the beginning of the reason my back and neck would be sore after a fairly short ride, but the more I rode, the less they bothered me. Nevertheless, there’s no denying that a more upright bike allows you to ride longer in greater comfort, when the ride is longer than a couple of hours at a time.
