Stats show MSF courses working…
The attached video even says the Marine Corp is/was considering banning Marines from owning Sport Bikes.

A similar story ran here in the San Diego Trib about the Marines in Camp Pendleton and their need for speed after coming home from Iraq. It indicated that some Marines were trying to get the same adrenline fix from motorcycles as they got in Iraq and that this need for speed was resulting in a high accident and mortality rate. The Marines at Camp Pendleton have been implementing more instruction classes to help with this issue.

Being former US Army myself, we had a lot of riders on base. The moment they came out of the base, these guys were reckless. My assumption is that they are dying under thier circumstances they put themselves into.
Combat is dangerous, but there is a certain controlled environment to it. Soldiers/Marines dont want to get shot and a lot more cautious – and the continous training they get kicks in – and they are under combat command and control.
But riding on a motorcycles Soldiers/Marines, tend to do a lot of speeding, stunting, and just downright stupid things (as that video dipicts).
The MPs used to put up DUI/DWI blockades in front of the base at random times, and you would be amazed how many get caught.
Lastly, because of the hardcore training they get, marines/soldiers are taught they “invincible”. Just listen to the cadences and training modules. They taught to act in under any circumstance. So by nature, many soldiers/marines tend to be a little more “over confident.”
My point is it is not the bike that is killing them, it is their own actions on the bikes.
