Hey guys,
I was just wondering about motorcycle licensing. Like just the general process. So what happens after you take the MSF Basic Rider course? Do you get something like a permit? Can I practice on my own after taking the MSF course? I’m just confused as to the process of obtaining a motorcycle license.July 12, 2009 at 8:34 pm #20535MunchParticipantNot sure in your area. Here you needed at least a permit to take the MSF. Then and it varies by state wether or not the completing certificate allows you to by pass the driven part of the test to get your endorsement. The certificate you get really is nothing more then a pat on the back . Unless your state recognizes it as an exemption.

The MSF class ends with a skills test, which if you pass it, you get a card that you take to the BMV to get your endorsement. If you are younger than 18, you MUST take the MSF to get your endorsement. If you are 18 or over, it is optional. You are also able to just schedule a skills test at the BMV.

Because I prepaid that money and I passed the course, my license automatically got mailed to me in a week or two.
