Hi, i am a somewhat 40 year old living in southern california.
After i pushed the license always in front of me, there were always reasons not to do it, i made my decision to finally do it.
First to get a license and do the practice training with (i think it was MSV) and after that buying a bike. Still i can’t make up my mind what riding style i like to do and so i am still torn between what i can afford and whats comfortable for longer driving.
(my current list is between scooter, cruiser, dual and sport)I am happy that i found this site and i really take a lot home from this site.
One thing i got recommended is the idiot guide and i have to say, it was worth the money. If you have no plan at all, this really get it to you. Recommended:)I always get jealous if i see a cruiser passing by at me. Happen last time with a honda gold wing. I think thats what they are called.
I think my biggest challenge will be to buy the actual bike and not so much the training (well that too).
Anyway, i want to thank everyone on the forum to be very helpful.
Take care and each other.

Have you taken the MSF basic rider course yet? If not, definitely do so…it’ll give you the basics, and you’ll get a chance to see how different types of bikes actually feel.
