Hello, all!
I have been reading through the website and thought that I would take a chance to step out into the spring sunlight from my shadowy lair under the bridge.
Spring has come to Alaska; one of the tell-tale signs being the sudden appearance of motorcycles everywhere. I started seeing some of the die-hards about a month ago, but this weekend, the turnout has been fantastic.
I don’t ride, haven’t ever been on a motorcycle, and really (well until the last couple of weeks) didn’t know more about them than that they had two wheels instead of four. Oh, and that the people who were riding them always looked like they were having a lot more fun driving than me…
So, I am thinking about taking an MSF course, and (if I don’t make a complete fool of myself) buying a bike.
I have a million questions, but I’ll leave those for another thread… And I promise not to ask if a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 is an appropriate beginner bike or if I should settle for the Ducati Monster 1100.

I’m thinking about a Buell Blast, but the GS500 looks interesting too.
