Just about 3 hours of tight, twisty, windy road followed by 100 km/h highway riding. I am pooped! My bike is just about to turn the 1000k mark and is running very, very well.
I was really cautious in the twisty stuff but I don’t know the road AT ALL and it’s bordered on one side by a cliff, so I refuse to feel bad about that. Next time I’ll open it up a bit more.
Ran out of gas halfway through too! Now I know how it feels – at the time I was like ‘WTF? My bike is broken!”July 6, 2008 at 1:39 am #8408megaspazParticipantDon’t feel bad about going slow on a road you’re not familiar with… Every experienced rider will tell you to take it slow. Congrats on busting 1K and next time filler up before going or top it off and reset the trip meter.
