I was browsing LeatherUp.com and happened to notice that most of what they carry is a brand I’ve never heard of called Xelement that is dirt cheap. I’m talking $100 for what APPEARS to be a quality leather riding jacket with venting, cowhide, and CE armor kind of cheap. Now I happen to have $40 in amazon.com gift certificates (and since they are tied with amazon.com, they accept them) so I’m thinking of taking the plunge and getting a leather jacket for $60. But anyone know anything about this budget brand? The reviews all seem to be positive with some people commenting about very heavy and thick leather.
