had another interesting day at Infineon with K@TT…
Bumped my ass up to B+ after being involved in a couple incidents. First, some noob decides to swoop to the outside of the straight going to T4 after being in the middle for the first half of it as I was passing him. I Had to hit the brakes hard on the curbing and barely avoid kissing paint. Second, some twatwaffle decides to exit and passes me on the inside of T11 when I was about to turn in. Third, Some guy on a KTM had his mirrors on and didn’t tape them up. I saw him peeking at his fakking mirrors when I was behind him getting ready to pass. At least I didn’t crash this time and dropped a good 7 seconds from my best time in B- for my best time in B+. Average lap time saw an 5 second drop from my best time in B-. B- was fakking wacky today…
Videos were fakking wacky too. the first one has sound vid sync issues later in the vid. There’s vid syncing issues in the second one as well between the 2 videos… apparently the pip vid records/playsback slightly faster than the main vid somewhere in the middle of the vid. Oh well…

July 16, 2009 at 2:34 pm #20684megaspazParticipantSorry. Although midwest born, I’m california raised… been living here all but 8 years of my life.

July 21, 2009 at 7:47 pm #20838eternal05ParticipantMegaspaz, have you ever given Keith Code’s California Superbike School a try? If so, what did you think? Worth doing? Fun? Helpful?
July 21, 2009 at 8:50 pm #20842megaspazParticipantI haven’t given them a try yet. I don’t know if I will. They’re more expensive than keigwin’s and the curriculum’s about the same although there are some differences in opinions about lines. I’ll keep on doing keigwin’s and will may try out the star school as well, but i doubt it as keigwin’s curriculum is the same as the star curriculum. I’ve just created a good repor (sp?) with some of the instructors at keigwin’s and zoom zoom. So as far as school’s go, i’d recommend keigwin’s school whole heartedly as well as their trackdays and I’d also recommend zoom zoom for trackdays. either way, with whatever tdp or school you choose, it most certainly is fun and helpful.
