Open trackday funzies. Just a couple of vids for fun filming a couple of buddies. Ran 2:11s-2:12s. Almost highsided my ass to the moon on a slow corner. Found out Power One dot race tires are shit. Lasted only 2.5 days and cut my day short by a half. Not only that, they would not warm up to operating temp at all. Got the right amount of hot pressure, but the tires were rock cold after 10 hot laps. By lunch they were shagged to shit. Spent 2 futile trackdays total trying to dial in the suspension to save the tires. Still, all in all a great day of fun in the sun.

I’ll watch the videos when I get home…I’m in a meeting that’s about to start.

I went with the race front and the road rear since for 160/60, it was recommended by the rep not to get the race power ones for the rear… issues with the track really fucking up race rear like tire chunks coming off the carcass. if you’re rear’s bigger than 160/60, then go for it, but get the race power ones. For me, i’m looking at pirelli’s dot race sc3 tires as the slick version wore great and had a lot of tread left after hard riding. Also, suspension guru dave moss, likes the bridgestone dot race tires, and i have a lot of confidence in his judgement, so i’ll be looking at bridgestones too.
