Yeah, I’m mainly tossing up between Black or Blue, wondering about visibility for safety but then black is more durable? Hmmm

I just bought a black bike, and I love the color. I don’t think it detracts from visibility because I wear other things to make me visible. If you think that gender should enter into the equation (I have no opinion one way or the other), I like blue. I also hate the Kawasaki green.

    Red or green for visibility.

But which colour (sorry, just can’t type that with a straight face) do YOU like best?

I don’t know if Squidgy sounds black, hmmm. Just joking, a black Ninja will rock!

ninja’s are supposed to be black, so they can sneak through the night and complete their missions.

(this was a poorly executed joke)

Not for visibility, I just like red. And the red ninja looks pretty nice.

I bought my bike used, so I had no color choice. I used to hate the green, but it’s starting to grow on me (I always thought it looked like Gak or slime). I’ve never really like red, but it’s not bad for bikes, good for visibility, as the the slime green, lol. I love my blue though! It didn’t seem as bright when I bought it as it does now. It needed a good washing. All my riding gear is grey, black and white, with exception to my bright yellow/green vest. I’m not into the whole matching your bike thing. I’ve always been a sucker for blue though. In the sun it’s beautiful! Just remember black shows everything, every speck of pollen, scratch, etc. Good luck, get something that YOU like, who the hell cares what everyone else thinks? JMO.

Personally I would go with red or blue.. The black looks nice but be prepared to clean that sucker often.. Black shows dirt SO much more than any of the other colors.. Personally I agree with Clay though.. I like the red on the Ninjas.. I screams “SEXY!”

I’ve got a black 2007, and it’s no trouble to keep clean. I think that for a girl, anything goes. But for a guy, I gotta say black all the way.
