Lurked I have, but now registered I am. Just took the MSF over Memorial Day weekend- and then went out and bought a Suzuki S40. I am loving every minute, and I have to say, 65 on a bike isn’t nearly as terrfying as I thought it would be. Haven’t really done any distance yet- still learnign the quirks around town. I’ve got two longer rides planned for this weekend though, and can’t wait!

I took my first ride today and found myself to be comfortable at speed. My concern is the cars that ride my rear fender at speed.

yeh… tailgating cagers make for some elevated heartbeats. Tap (modulate) your rear brake. If they continue to tailgate, let off the throttle a bit to slow down a little, then speed up back to speed to gain some distance. If they speed up and continue tailgating, merge to the right and let them pass. You can optionally show them your riding gloves with the middle finger extended… (j/k on that one… sort of… ) :-P
