I am thinking that now is a good time to buy (you know holidays and all) but do you think that there will be beter deals when it warms up as apposed to now.

I’ve never put this to the test but my opinion is that these seasonal variations are overshadowed by the boom/bust of the economy. Many dealers still have brand new 2009 bikes in stock sitting alongside 2010 and maybe even 2011 bikes. Now is a good time to buy regardless of holidays, even if you are looking at used.

People not wanting to store a bike for the winter, no demand for bikes, and the need for Christmas cash makes for some fantastic deals. Once the weather breaks in the spring and the demand for bikes increases the prices follow.

I would not wait until spring if you want one at prices like that. Local free online adds post many used and abused similar model/year bikes with asking prices much higher than this.
