Alright here’s the deal, i got my teknic freestyle jacket the other day and gotta say i absolutely love it i just seem to be having a problem with the wind. The first time i wore it i made sure my front vents were open for good circulation and the thing inflated at about 30mph like a ballon!!! (I later realized my rear vent was closed jeje)
The problem is that i took the bike out today again with the jacket (all vents open this time, i’m a quick learner like that) but the jacket was still inflating quite noticeably to the point were it was creating a lot of drag. The wind even shifted me from one side of my lane to the other. I know that some resistance is to be expected as opposed to just riding in a t-shirt but how much is too much? Anyone else have this problem and more importantly is the problem due to the way the jacket is designed, are there less drag jackets? If you have the Teknic jacket i would love to hear your experiences with it or any solutions you might have come up with if not i would still appreciate any input.
P.S. In case it makes any difference i ride with the inner liner off (too hot in orlando) and rode both “sitiing up” and couchged over in a “racing” position.

I do have a problem in that with the liner removed it is a bit loose but if anything I could do with more air flowing through it. It’s the high 70’s here and I am getting kinda hot.
Sorry couldn’t be of any help.

I had only opened the vent at the top of the back, and not the vertical ones down at the lower back on either side of the armor (that’s how mine is set up). Perhaps you were better versed with your jacket, but my situation improved drastically after I found those vents (only took me one ride to realize).
