ParticipantHas anyone had any problems with the GT250? i have had the electric dash die on me and i have been told it will cost $1500 to replace it. It is only 2 years old.

Participant1500$? for that I’d remove it myself and find the loose wire/fure and see whats going on. $1500 sounds like a joke. unless its physically damaged I’d check for loose/broken wire, bad fuse, failing that I’d check the pcb for dry solder joints.

ParticipantThis is a common problem with Hyosung motorcycles and one of the reason my friend (who is a motorcycle technician)’s dealershop stopped sellign Hyosungs. This was a VERY common warranty issue with them and the dealers were having a hard time obtaining the parts needed to fix it. And no, it’s not a loose wire/fuse, stu.
