Does anyone know of a good website for finding motorcycle specs?

Specifically, I am looking for Torque and HP for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha. Its funny that I can find this information on the websites for some of the smaller manufacturers, but not for these big boys.

I already tried the manufacturer websites and motorcycle.com. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

Actually most bikes have a wikipedia entry which always seem to have torque and hp specs.

…I said I was putting together a long list of specs for a bunch of bikes? Well, I did a chunk of bikes (probably about 15), but that list was long, and I didn’t want to let it out until I’d finished it off.

I did, however, run into the problem you describe a lot. Motorcycle magazines, wikipedia, and really arcane Google searches are your friends.

And what the hell, here’s the half-completed spec sheet that I haven’t touched in an embarrassingly long time:

Ah, eternal! I had pretty much decided that you were having fun procrastinating on procrastinating. :) So instead, I got crap from my sweetheart for being a complete nerd and putting together my own spreadsheet. Why it came to him as a surprise that I am a complete nerd, I don’t understand. Maybe he was just marveling about it all over again…

I have to say that you have gotten alot further, with alot more information that I have. :) I didn’t think to keep track of transmission or fuel economy.

Lookin’ good. I’ll just swipe what you have and see what I can find for the Hondas of the world…

eternal, most places list the Rebel at a whopping 18 HP. And the Vulcan EN500 is generally shown as 46-50 HP. That’s why it was such a transition for me. The bike was only a few pounds heavier, but almost 3x the HP!

I’ve added them in. Finding some of these is a real pain…

Nice chart, eternal. Very good and specific info. I hope you get the chance to finish it. Good luck.

Every few days I try to add a few more bikes, but I’ve been busy lately…

We’ll see if I can’t finish up soon.

If you want what I have culled from the manufacturer websites (I have a few more bikes and have combed through the Honda site) drop me a message with your email. I’d be happy to send you my spreadsheet.
