I had an on-the-job incident on Friday when I fell through a section of floor at my office that was apparently rotted through and gave way beneath me. The way I landed, I would have ended up with damaged ankles & knees if it weren’t for the fact that I was still wearing my Field Armor boots and Knox Knee/shin guards. Still, I ended up with a concussion & contusion. Obviously I wasn’t in any shape to ride home after the ER visit and had to leave my bike at work where it will stay until monday. Hopefully nobody will walk away with it. It’s fully insured so I suppose I shouldn’t be too concerned… But it is in a really bad part of town.

I’m glad that you are safe and in one piece. Take it easy for a couple of days for sure. Too bad you didn’t have a friend you could trust to retrieve it for you. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Are you going to write Icon and Knox and tell them their products protect from distances significantly greater than just bike to ground?
June 8, 2010 at 4:24 pm #26931WeaponZeroParticipantBike is still there and because it poured down rain over the weekend it is now dry. LOL, I should, shouldn’t I?
