So has anyone taken a spin on an old VFR400/ NC30 that can give me ten cents about the bike? One just came up for sale at a local dealership, and I’ve been thinking that 1 400CC sportbike is probably where I want to end up eventually anyways (plenty of power for me, cheapest insurance bracket). This one is a 1990 with 13k miles. Does anyone know of any regular problems with that model? I’m having a bit of trouble finding discussions of the bike online for some reason.

there were very few produced and they didnt share any parts with any other bikes. good luck finding parts on it. the rarity of them is why you dont see discussions about them.

Hmm, thanks for the heads up. If they’re hard to fix then it’s probably not what I need. I’m not looking for a weekend toy to tinker with, rather this is a commuter vehicle that I’d rather not have sidelined while I wait for parts to come in.
