Hey all, I’m Beth. So basically, I’ve liked motorcycles since I was a little girl (I would see people riding around town, and would tell myself “I’m going to do that one day!”) and I’ve finally decided to take action on it! At 17 years old, I’m hoping to take an MSF course when I’m 18/19, simply because I think it would be easier to do everything as a legal adult (insurance, buying a bike, etc.). So right now I’m doing alot of reasearch on motorcycles, motorcycle saftey, types of bikes and all that jazz! I’m in college right now, so what I’m mainly looking for is something small to get me around campus and the rest of the town. I heard that the Honda Rebel is a good choice? Maybe? I’m short, 5 ft 1, so I’m definitely going to need something to fit my height! Also something that’s easy to maintain, if that’s possible? Any advice is much appreciated!
Take care!

Consider a scooter- they are great for city traffic with an automatic transmission, and many cost less than the Rebel for both price and insurance.
I started with a 3.5 horsepower minibike with an automatic transmission at 8 years old for a year, then a two-speed 60cc scooter with no clutch for two years, then a five speed 100cc dirt bike for three years, then a five-speed 650cc street bike from 20 to 25 years old.
